Dr. Diana Jones was born in California and came to Iowa where she studied Spanish at Grinnell College. After graduation, she went to work for a women’s health clinic. Working both in the clinic assisting doctors and in accounts receivable, she developed a passion for patient care and an understanding of the financial burdens of healthcare.
Knowing she wanted to do more, she went back to school to get the science pre-requisites needed for pre-med and then attended University of Iowa College Dentistry. After graduation, she helped open the Eastern Iowa Health Center Dental Clinic in Cedar Rapids in 2017.
Jones has a very supportive husband and two children. They keep her busy and focused on what really matters. Together, they enjoy spending time with their pets, camping, cooking, gardening, fishing and eating good food. Jones loves public health and will talk about it with anyone willing to listen.
