Top Shape Gym
Alana Willenborg was born and raised in Dyersville, Iowa. She and her husband, Marty, have been married for over 51 years and have two children, Jason and Angela, and six grandchildren.
Alana has been teaching fitness classes for over 40 years, starting in Dubuque when she was 30 years old. After her husband was transferred to Cedar Rapids, she became employed at St. Luke’s Hospital as an instructor. She has been a fitness instructor at Top Shape Gym in Cedar Rapids for approximately 18 years and is also certified as a Silver Sneakers Program Instructor and Aqua class instructor.
Alana seeks to help members form life-changing habits and become the best version of themselves that they can be, which starts with helping them feel good about themselves. Their success helps to motivate her as an instructor. She feels blessed to call many of these members her friends.
Alana loves spending time with her grandchildren, traveling, golfing and taking walks with her husband.
